attack was in fact not known by the Allies until the end of the war, so no Allied code
name was assigned. This "SEIRAN" was photographed at Paul Garber facility in 1990.
It is believed be one of eighteen production models built of the SEIRAN.
Photograhs taken during restoration reveal many interesting details. Exposed red paint is original standard Japanese primer coat. Exterior Green and Gray paint are also original. The ATSUTA Type 32 V-12 in-line engine is a license built Daimler-Benz DB-601. Left overall view. |
