These photographs were taken August '96 at The Champlin Fighter Museum in Arizona.
This aircraftiNASM83-8082-38) belongs to The National Air and Space Museum who
contracted its restoration to The Champlin Fighter Museum. This is the first time
NASM has ever farmed out the restoration of aircraft. Needless to say this
means that The Champlin is qualified by their high standard of
restoration and this George interceptor is good evidence of that. -
